Well...everything was good until Friday night, Madalyn threw up right at my feet in the den, then she walked over to the couch and threw up, as Kevin rushed her to the bathroom, she threw up and it went everywhere; the door, rugs, all the way to the bathtub, the cabinet, wall, toilet, etc. This started around 8:30 and continued until 10:00. By 10:00, poor thing, she didn't have anything left, she was just dry heaving. Once during one of the times she was throwing up, she was saying "I'm sorry, sorry, sorry". We were like it's ok, poor baby. She woke up about every hour to ever two hours during the night, but didn't throw up any more. Saturday we had about 7 to 8 bad, bad diapers during the day. She threw up at lunch, but I really think it was because she drank her tea why too fast and too much at once. She only had two small handfuls of goldfish and pedialyte to eat and drink all day. Then she took a 3 1/2 hour nap, which I slept for about 2 1/2 hours myself. She slept good last night and seems to be her regular self this morning. She never really ran a fever, even though she felt hot a good bit of the time. Just so glad she's better. It's a helpless feeling knowing you can't do a whole lot to help them when they are sick like this.
On Monday, Mrs. Katie kept our youth minister's little girl, and when she got ready to leave, the baby started throwing up and throwing up. The poor baby ended up being in the hospital Wednesday and Thursday due to her throwing up and running a high fever of 105. They finally said she had a virus and a UTI infection. She's home now and doing better, thankfully. So, I would guess she shared part of what she had with Madalyn. But hey, no blame here, kids share things back and forth all the time. I'm so thankful Madalyn is feeling better and this little baby is doing better too.
Well, last night I noticed that my right eye was red, and this morning both of my eyes, once again, were matted shut and red/pink, once I got them unstuck. I can't believe I have pink eye again. But one of my students was out last Monday and she said that she had pink eye, so I guess that's where I got it from. I have taught for 8 years and have never gotten pink eye before and within a month I've had it twice. Thankfully, the last time I had it, I had my doctor that I see in Barnwell call in something and I got my doctor from Greenville (that my mom works for) called in something, so I did have a new set of drops already, so I can start on them today. And hopefully, I can keep Madalyn from getting it and Kevin from getting it as well. I just have to wear my glasses all week, which can get old instead of my contacts, but oh well, you do what you have to do to get better.

"I'm Stuck!"
Last weekend, Madalyn went into my bedroom. I didn't follow her right away, when I did, I had to laugh and grab the camera, because she informed me that she was "stuck". She had climbed to the end of the bed and was stuck in between the mattress and the end board. It was pretty funny, she was just hanging out. And it took some pulling to get her out too. You would think she would have learned her lesson, but nope, as soon as I got her out, she went right back to sliding in there again.
I'm stuck!
Let me out!

Happy Birthday, Kevin!
Today is Kevin's 32nd birthday! A funny thing, if you reverse the numbers its 23 and Kevin was 23 when I met him for the second time, when we began dating. We knew that it would be almost impossible for us to go out to eat on a Monday, so we celebrated early. Saturday evening, we went out to eat for Kevin's birthday at Outback, and then we went to one of his favorite stores, Lowes. I had not bought his birthday present yet (I know...his birthday was here before I had a chance to shop this year); so when we went into Lowes, I told him to pick out his birthday present, and he was very excited about that. Don't ask me what it was, some kind of tool to cut metal. He had, had one of these tools before, but it had gotten stolen from the chicken houses. It's hard to believe that I've known him for nine years already, time is flying by. Thank you Kevin for being such a wonderful dad to Madalyn and a wonderful husband to me. You deserve the best day...Happy Birthday! Madalyn and I love you very much!

Madalyn's Spring Pictures
This morning after church I took some spring pictures of Madalyn. The hay field in front of our house always looks so pretty with these purple flowers. I had been waiting all week to have a chance to get Madalyn's picture. She was very distracted by the purple flowers, she wanted to pick them all. She also got upset when she noticed the grass sticking to her toes. However, like most photo sessions lately, you spend more time running after her and trying to get her to sit still, than you do taking pictures. I was able to get a few good ones and many that show her cute personality. Happy Spring!

First Day of Spring Break
My first day of spring break was great! Madalyn let me sleep til 8:00 this morning. I woke up and it was raining, would have loved to lay in bed longer, but I was glad she let me sleep to 8:00 instead of being up at 6:30. We had a busy morning. While Madalyn ate breakfast, I cleaned the kitchen. Then she watched one her of shows while I cleaned my bedroom and her bedroom, putting away clothes, etc. Then we played with rice and Easter eggs. This kept her busy for about 40 minutes, she would scoop up the rice with the Easter egg and put it in the other bowl. Then she started pouring the rice from bowl to bowl. Kevin came home for lunch and before he left Madalyn had brought her dolls and stuffed animals into our bed. Before Kevin left to go back to work, Madalyn had him kiss all of her toys "good-bye" two times before she let him go. Then we played a little more and she went down for a nap, and I did a little more house work, then I took a little nap myself. She woke up and we played some more, until she went to bed a few minutes ago. It's so nice to not have the stress of school to worry with this week. I can just enjoy being at home with Madalyn. On the weekends, we stay so busy, that it's rare we have a chance to just enjoy playing for the day. Even if we don't have something to, I'm so tired from the week, that I don't feel like playing. When I have a break like this from school, it's just amazing to me what all Madalyn can do and say. During the week, things are so busy and stressful I don't get to enjoy her because we have to stick to our schedule and plus I'm so tired once I get home, so I'm looking forward to this week having time to just enjoy being a mom. (Oh, a quick health up date: my eyes are finally looking white again-the Pink Eye is almost gone, and she seems to be fine from her ear infection and the other sickness is long gone. Hopefully, once this ear infection is over, we can keep her ears well and the rest of her well for a good while...and me too. ) Here's some pictures from our day.
I love this picture! Madalyn was saying "Ta Da!" when I took this picture.
Now, she was pretending to go "night-night".
