20 Week Check Up....It's a .....
This afternoon we went for my 20 week check up. We have a healthy baby so far and we are so thankful for that. They said I was right or the baby was right on target where it should be. This baby didn't want to participate in the scan today. It kept moving away and hiding behind my belly button. It also kept it's legs crossed for the longest time. Right now it weighs 12 ounces. And just for the record, I was right and Madalyn was right and many, many people were wrong as far as what the gender was. I had a feeling along with Madalyn that she was a girl and I had the same feeling with this one. I would have been surprised if it had turned out to be a boy. The next time I go to the doctor I have to do the glucose test. Hopefully, I pass the one hour one (and not miss it by 1 point like I did last time). I really don't want to have to do the 3 hour again. So we are once again tickled PINK at the McCormick household.

20 Weeks
Tomorrow I will be 20 weeks; half way through! Wow, has time gone by fast. And the last few days this little baby has been on the move. I go to the doctor Wednesday for my 20 week check up. We get to have an ultrasound and see our little baby. I'm excited about that, and hopefully we will find out that everything is doing good with this baby. We will find out if the baby is a boy or girl. Madalyn is still telling us it's a girl, but everyone else is hoping it's a boy it seems, from family to people at work. People act like having two girls would be horrible for some reason. Why, I don't know. It doesn't matter to us as long as he/she is healthy. So, come back Wednesday night and you can find out what it is. So what's your guess...PINK or BLUE?
The bump is growing!

Madalyn's Big Girl Bed
I had ordered Madalyn a new big girl bed and it came Tuesday. Friday we got a mattress for it, so yesterday afternoon we got it all set up for her. Her "new" big girl room isn't complete yet, we have to move some furniture out and some from another room in; but her bed was ready for her to sleep in it last night. She is very excited about her new bed. When we got it all fixed, she came in and said "oh wow! It's perfect! Hopefully, within the next few weeks we can get the furniture moved and everything arranged for her new room and the nursery arranged for the new baby.
I love her new big girl bed!
I love her bed! I found it on several websites, but found it the best deal on Amazon and it was here in like 4 days of me ordering it; which was awesome.
I love her bedding-which she's had since Christmas. I love all the colors and patterns. She loves that it's pink with horses. Kevin loves that he didn't have to repaint her room a new color.
3 Year Old Preschool
In a week, Madalyn will start 3 year old preschool at the same place she was at last year. Saturday, we went to the Meet & Greet to meet her teacher and see who was in her class this year. Madalyn was excited about going and didn't to leave school.

Beach Trip
Kevin, Madalyn, and I received an invite to go to Surfside Beach last week with Kevin's cousin (Brantley),and her family (husband-Richard, and two girls, Katherine Grace (who is 3 1/2) and Annalise (who is 3 months), his aunt Wanda and uncle Jim, another couple (Amber, Steven, and Savannah (who is 2). We left on Thursday and came back this afternoon. We had a wonderful time. Friday's weather was perfect and even though on Saturday we had a little rain, it was still a nice day. The girls had a blast playing together. Even though Katherine Grace and Madalyn are cousins, this was the first time they had spent much time together. It was a great way to end the summer because I start back to school this Tuesday.
The Happy Dolphin Beach House
As soon as we got there Thursday afternoon, we hit the beach. We found a starfish!

Our last morning on the beach
I scream...you scream...we all scream for the beach!
What a fun vacation we had. The only problem was it went by was too fast. :0)
And of course what vacation would be complete without a few family pictures, especially when you go on vacation with a professional photographer. :0) Excuse the hair, it's the beach people and the wind was a blowing.
And of course gotta have a maternity shot
Thanks Brantley for the pics!
