Last Week of March
I tell you the months are flying by. I think this will start week 10 for us that things have been so crazy. They only continue to be that way. It has continued to be one thing after the other with no break. We start the 4th nine weeks tomorrow at school, we have 3 weeks til Spring Break. Madalyn is finally starting to feel better from having the stomach virus and then the flu. I hope and pray she will stay well now for awhile. Our days and weeks have been soooo busy. I am ready for things to slow down and for summer to be here. I know I haven't blogged much in the last few months, but I honestly have barely had time or energy to take care of the daily "must-dos" let alone have time for anything that I enjoy doing, such as blogging. I did find time today to read a book for an hour and take a nap for an hour and I don't know where that time came from and can't tell you the last time I had a chance to do that, but it was much needed. :o) The warm spring weather and sunshine are nice to have but I hate these days of going from extreme temperature changes and all these severe thunderstorms we have been having. But I love seeing the signs that spring is coming with the flowers blooming and the trees budding their green leaves. If we can all stay well and the temp stay warm we can start enjoying some afternoons outside. Please continue to remember my family in your prayers. We are definitely in a season of trials and challenges.

Happy 6th Birthday, Madalyn!
Today Madalyn is 6 years old. Today was her first day back to school since being out since last Thursday. She's had flu and the week before a stomach virus. We had scheduled her birthday party for the 18th but had to cancel due to her being sick. She told us that it was "horrible" and I agree with her. She was not excited about having to go back to school this morning but after a rough start, I think the day ended up pretty good.
