Meet Wingo

Within the middle of Madalyn's hives, I haven't had a chance to introduce you to the newest member of the McCormick Family...Meet Wingo!  Wingo came to us Saturday evening. (I know what you are thinking, Madalyn is allergic to Wingo...been down that road already, the doctor says no due to us having a dog before and an inside dog at that, plus her testing negative to being allergic to dogs. She has been kept away from him and is still breaking out with hives.)  Anyway...a friend of Kevin's had two puppies that he wanted to give away, so Wingo found his way here. His mom is a full-blooded black, Cocker Spaniel, and his dad...well we don't know.  He is about 6 months old and almost full grown.  I took him to the vet yesterday and he checked okay except for some worms, which with medicine will clear up soon.  He has been in a kennel since he was born, he needs a lot of TLC.  Madalyn just laughs and laughs at him.  He is a sweet puppy and so now I have two babies to train.  His name, yes, he is named after the Carolina Gamecock baseball player, Scott Wingo, and no Kevin didn't name him, I did. The people who had him gave him the name Bear, but we decided he needed a different name, so that's what has just stuck.  We are very excited about the newest member of our family and we think he's going to be a great addition to our family.
