When I got home from school this afternoon, I picked Madalyn up and took her to the dentist. This was her 2nd trip to the dentist. She was excited to go because she was going to get a new toothbrush. She did really well and got a great report. She sat in the chair by herself this time. This time they did a regular cleaning on her, flossing and everything. She was so good, she got to go to the prize drawer and she got her new toothbrush.
She was excited and ready.

I was sitting in the floor talking to Alexis, when Kevin let Bella in the house. After a few minutes, she came into the den with a "prize" in her mouth. I didn't know if it was dead or alive, but I called her back into the kitchen and then she dropped her "prize". Thankfully it was already dead.

Wow! Madalyn's smile is just infectious while sitting on the dentist's chair. It's really inspiring to see little kids taking to dental visits real well. That is a trait that should be encouraged and maintaned. Of course, the dental work should deliver at all aspects, such as the equipment, technology and rapport, to foster that.
