Happy Halloween!

We've had a busy week with different fall activities and events. Hard to believe that we are now moving into the holiday season...some of my favorite times of the year. Happy Fall to all!

I asked Madalyn how she wanted to decorate her pumpkin this year. She wanted to paint it pink with horses on it. So here it is...and Alexis' pumpkin is an owl.

Costume Time

Madalyn wanted to be a black cat.

Alexis is a ladybug.

To get a standing picture was a challenge because she's walking everywhere and doesn't want to stay still. Haha!

Happy Halloween!

Bloopers:

I think Alexis is thinking, "What is on your face?"

And of course Alexis would have to "taste" the pumpkin.

Fall Carnival at Church

Wednesday night, we had our fall carnival at church.

Alexis 9 Months

Alexis was 9 months old October 6th. She's had a bad cold the last few weeks and is still trying to get over it.

Alexis at 9 Months

-She is walking everywhere. Still holding onto things, but getting braver every day.
-She has 4 top teeth and another bottom tooth that is coming in. Total Teeth: 7
-She jabbers all the time.
-She's a super fast crawler and gets into everything and everywhere.
-She's so happy.

When I come to pick her up everyday and I walk into my mother-in-law's house, she starts smiling and clapping. It really makes you feel good.

Last Week

Here's some things and pictures that went one last week.

Madalyn got her first gymnastics report card and did great. We are proud of her. She enjoys going.

Alexis had a bad hair day. Ha ha! :)

Alexis is walking more and more each day.

Meet Morgan

Wednesday, October 14, 2015, "Morgan" Ann Riddley was born. She's 9 months and 8 days younger than Alexis. A funny story, when Lindsey came to see me when Alexis was born Madalyn asked her if she had a baby in her tummy. She said no. Then a few weeks later, Lindsey shared her exciting news with us. So excited she's here and doing good.

Picking Apples and Pumpkins

This past weekend, we went to visit my parents. We wanted to take the girls apple picking and pumpkin picking. We started this tradition when Madalyn was born. We had planned to go on Saturday, but it rained all day, so we went Sunday morning. We wanted to go somewhere different this year, so we started at one place, but they were out of apples! So, we went to Granddad's Orchard which is the first place we took Madalyn when she was 7 months old. We had a great time, the sun came out and it was a great day of making memories for our family.

Madalyn fed the goats and other animals.

Let's go pick apples

The sun came out as we rode the cow train.
