Madalyn's Preschool Graduation

Madalyn had her preschool graduation this morning along with her spring program for school.  She did really well during her "spring" program part. She then marched in with her classmates, but once she got on stage, she started acting funny.  She was completely pale and doubling over like she was going to be sick. So I got her off stage and took her to the bathroom. She almost passed out a few times, said her eyes were blurry, and just not doing good at all. After about 20 minutes, she got to feeling better and perked up.  So after graduation, they redid her walking across the stage so she could get her diploma. I'm not sure exactly what happened to her, but she did this one time before when she got over heated riding in the car. I'm just glad she didn't get any sicker and was able to perk up some to get her diploma and we made a few pictures.  We went out to eat at Outback afterwards because Madalyn loves their bread and she's been acting fine this afternoon. We are very proud of her and all she has learned. She is ready for K5 in the fall!

Spring Program Theme "Nursery Rhymes"
Madalyn was "Mary, Mary Quit Contrary"

Graduation March

I noticed once Madalyn was walking down the aisle something was wrong, then once she got on stage I saw how pale she was. And as you can see in this picture, she was getting sicker. I got her and took her out after this picture was taken.

Her teacher, Mrs. Sara wanted to make sure Madalyn had a chance to walk across the stage and get her diploma. Which I thought was very nice of her to do that.

Mrs. Sara and Madalyn
What a blessing Mrs. Sara was this year. She started off as the aide, but in November the main teacher took a different job and Mrs. Sara stepped up to the plate and did an awesome job! We were so thankful that she was given this opportunity to be Madalyn's teacher. She and Madalyn had such a special connection this year.

Madalyn and Aunt Tori, Tori is the director of the preschool she goes to.  Tori does a wonderful job being the director of The Creation Station. We are so blessed for her heart for children and wanting to see them learn and grow in the Lord along with in the classroom.

BFFs- Charlee and Madalyn
It's sad these duo won't be together next year in school...they have been side by side this whole year.  They are both two sweet little girls. :0) Madalyn will be with me at my school and Charlee will be at a different school.

Our Preschool Graduate- So Proud!

Her Class

We are so very proud of our little graduate! She has worked hard and has had three very successful years at The Creation Station. She has had wonderful teachers and has been given a great start on her educational journey and they have prepared her for five year old kindergarten.  I have been so impressed and pleased with what all Madalyn has learned.  The most important thing is that she has been in a loving and Christian environment. Not only has she learned her letters, numbers, how to count, how to write, colors, shapes, etc., but she had a Bible lesson everyday. She has learned Bible verses and precious songs. I love to hear her sing all her songs! We are so blessed to have a place like this so close by for our children to attend.

So Sweet! Alexis came up and gave Madalyn a hug.

Meet Luciann Marie Scott

My cousin Taylor and his wife Casey, had their first baby on Wednesday night (May 19th). It was a girl, named "Luciann" Marie Scott. She was 8 lbs. 6oz. and 21 inches.  Luciann decided to make everyone wait til 9:40 pm, before making her appearance into the world. Both mom and baby are doing great. I'm so happy and excited for them.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all! I don't know where any of us would be without our moms. They do so much for us....I hope everyone has a wonderful day. I took some pictures of my two girls yesterday.  We went to a park in Aiken, and it was such a nice day.

BLOOPERS....

Alexis scrunchies  up her nose a lot so this picture is totally her! :0)

She currently has this fascination with finding her belly button.

Playground

Last Saturday, my mom and I took Madalyn and Alexis to Aiken to a playground to play.  Madalyn found a little friend to play with and they had the best time besides the fact that it was like 90 degrees outside. So yesterday, we took the girls back to the playground to play. They had a fun time and it wasn't so hot yesterday as the Saturday before. (The playground was their reward for letting me take their pictures as part of my mother's day gift. :0)

Going Fishing

Last night Kevin and my dad took Madalyn fishing at a pond near our house. They had the best time. Kevin took Madalyn some last year and she told him that she needed a fishing pole with a crank on it and she wanted it to be pink. So last weekend Kevin and I found a pink fishing pole with a crank on it for her.  They kept a total of 8 fish, Madalyn caught 5 fish, my dad caught 7 fish and Kevin caught 4. Kevin said that Madalyn reeled in all her fish by herself. She was so proud!

They caught some good size fish. Kevin gave the fish to a man that works for him.
