Our Weekend

Yesterday, the girls and I spent the day out shopping. We didn't get anything special. I was trying to continue Christmas shopping but didn't see much of anything to get. But we had a fun day just window shopping, we had lunch at Cracker Barrel, Madalyn loves their fried okra, and then because she was a very good shopper I promised her that I would take her to the Marble Slab before we headed home.

Madalyn had cotton candy ice cream with sprinkles. Apparently the blue in the ice cream also turns everything else blue. Haha!

Alexis was too tired for ice cream.

We had a little day light left once we got home, so we played outside for a few minutes.

Today, we went to church, the grocery store, and Madalyn had a project for school to work on. Yesterday, we went to Hobby Lobby to get what we needed for her project. She had to disguise her turkey so the farmer couldn't find it for Thanksgiving.

Before...

After...Madalyn wanted her turkey to be a cowgirl.

We also went shopping for items to put in our Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. So we also filled those this afternoon.

Box 1

Box 2

Madalyn will take the shoe boxes and her turkey to preschool tomorrow.
