Winter One-derland Birthday

This weekend we celebrated Alexis's 1st birthday. We started in Greer on Saturday with her party for my side of the family. I did two parties for Madalyn's first birthday, so I did the same for Alexis. Then tonight, we celebrated here with Kevin's side of the family. I know it's a lot of work to do two parties, but her birthday only comes once a year. :0)

For our winter party, we had chilli beans with corn break muffins. Thankfully it wasn't 80 degrees like it was on Christmas. It did cool off a lot, so the chilli was nice to have.

Let's open some presents...

A little background story...Madalyn got an Ariel doll for Christmas from her aunt Felicia. Alexis loved that doll too. I mean really loved it. So her aunt Felicia got her one for her birthday. It's a little different from Madalyn's, but she kissed the box when she saw the doll.

Alexis loved the pj's. She didn't want to let them go.

Of course, she really liked the paper, bows, and tissue paper too.
