Holiday Lights

Madalyn is so, so excited about Christmas this year. Saturday night, we went to Columbia, to Saluda Shoals Park to see the lights on the river. It's a two mile loop that you drive through in your car. Then you can stop and get out to see Santa, take a hayride, ride a train, slide through lights, roast marshmallows, make s'mores, etc. Madalyn had a blast and we did too. We had not heard of this before and even though we waited an hour in line in the car before we turned into the place, it was worth it. We will most definitely do this again.

Love this picture! The gymnast was flipping across the balance beam. We stopped half way through at the rest stop, to get out and this one was close to where we stopped.

Madalyn is in this unicorn phase, so this was her favorite.

Once you saw most all the lights, you can get out and do some other fun things.

Madalyn loves marshmallows, so she of course wanted to roast some.

And we had our picture made with Santa. Alexis got upset, so I ended up begin in the picture.
